Special educational needs are a priority when it comes to out inclusive outlook to childcare provision.
Deputy Manager, Tracy Donegan is our on-site trained SENCO expert. She is the nursery lead on SEND planning, referrals and working on one-to-one targets for the children.
She works with children with Special Educational Needs, supporting both nursery staff and Group Managers, to ensure that special provision is accounted for, whilst also supporting parents and carers, if they need any help at home.
Tracy also liaises with representatives from the Local Authority and other external organisations; for example Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists and Health Visitors, to ensure that we have full 360-care for all children at the nursery.
